These are everywhere and have good reliable coffee and food at good prices - reminds me very much of the coffee cafes in Australia and US. More

You can find in this coffee house nice beverages and French pastries, as well as good food. This is mainly a place for expatriates. More

My first trip to Africa and Kenya and my first morning went in search of coffee and was directed to the Java House. As most of my vacations of late have been to Brazil and they have a set type of menu, here was a place that offered bacon and eggs and they were excellent. And what blew me away... More

Yes, great coffee but also tasty casual lunch and dinner menu items - all at a reasonable price and in a lovely atmosphere in the Serit Centre's ground floor. More

Java set the trend in the very competitive coffee house chain busines, it's cut throat but through fine offerings they've managed to stay barely ahead of the pack ...make sure you take home a pack of their locally prepared coffee beans you won't anything as good anywhere else on the planet!!! More

I go to Java quite often. The food is always good and never disappoints. The menu is quite varied which helps to cater to different tastes. The only drawback is the slow service which I've never understood as there is an abundance of waiters. More

For those of us who don't think travel should mean you have to put up with lousy coffee, Java House is a welcome relief. Clean and spacious facilities all over Nairobi, better coffee than Starbuck's, and, for that matter, better eats. Prices are steep for locals - Ksh 150, or a little less than $2 for a medium coffee -... More
