You could have very different experience here if you are trying different menus. I had an Egyptian meal and found it dry and bland. My partner, however, enjoyed his food.

We very much enjoyed eating at The Jewel of the Nile. The service and food were good and the price very reasonable. The total bill for 3 people was a little over £20. It was surprising to find that the owner had gone to the same school as me in Berkshire. It was a pleasant dining experience.

A short walk from the Steinberger and Sonesta hotels, down a slightly scary back street, this is well worth a visit. Food good. Bit of a walk down street from Secret Garden Cafe and can be a bit interesting getting back if there is a power cut! Worth a visit has some good specialities but shaded a bit by Puddleducks and the lantern.
