Real traditional arab bazaar. You gey a authentic feel about the place. Just be sure not to pay the asking price for any of the goods. Barter on everything. Food is cheap and take the time to have a coffee or tea at the al fishawi.

Dining in front of the pyramids in this historic and fairytale-like building was certainly a special experience that I definitely recommend. The service was great. The food didn't really meet the expectations, it was good but could have had more flavour.
My fellow travelers have put up some spectacular images of the Pyramid views from the restaurant. But if you are caught on a windy day, with sand being blown all around - you can forget the view but enjoy the birds taking refuge in the hanging canopy & intricate structure around the restaurant's ceiling.

The menu in this restaurant was quite broad. Our intention had been to eat Middle Eastern food but ended up eating Indian. Ironic as there is an Indian restaurant on the premises, but as we later discovered, it was all from the same kitchen so potentially the same chef.
The staff were very attentive, and helpful. Even though we had...

We had our launch here during our stay in Giza and we love the place!! Really great restaurant with quality food and service!!! Don't miss it when you are in Giza.
We stopped here for a quick snack before going to visit the pyramids. A very nice tomato soup and great sandwiches: very nice bread, good flavours and well presented dishes. Nice ambiance. Reasonably priced.
I used this restaurant for breakfast and also for an evening meal. Breakfast was superb, choice from everything.. all types of breakfast food imaginable.. For the evening meal we ordered an Egyptian Lentil Soup and Chicken Corn soup as a starter. Very good and reasonably priced. Then for main course I ordered an Indian Chicken dish for me and lamb...

Very good ambience, professional staff and excellent vegetarian options for Egyptian food. A bit pricey but the Pyramids view makes it worth it.
Ate here twice, despite not staying at the hotel.
Attentive waiters withe excellent English.
My husband's food was superb both nights. On the second night, I was a bit disappointed with my main course as it was very bland, but the first night's vegetarian ravioli was great.
Lots of choice - and if there's something you want on the menu,...
