I was taken to Leo Cocina y Cava by locals on a recent business trip. I was delighted by the local, fresh cuisine. We had swift service and the food was marvelous. I very much would recomment this restaurant. It's world-class cuisine. More

Making a reservation was a bit of a problem. I made it over the web a week or so before we went to Colombia, and I tried to confirm the reservation that day. My Spanish isn't that good and even though I finally did talk to someone who spoke English, I don't think they actually had my reservation. No worries,... More

This restaurant is famous because Leonor Espinosa was the first person in Bogota to use exotic Colombian ingredients in high-end, artful preparations. I'll give her credit for trying and for what she's doing, but I don't actually think the food is that tasty. More

With no doubt this is one of the best restaurants in Colombia. Its menu is fascinating and choices are so diffucult to make, that you promise yourself to return to try one of those other attractive dishes. My favourite hot appetizers: Tuna sealed with Santander ants, arepa soup, and carimañolas stuffed with smoked rabbit (I must say that since I... More

Summary: Leo Cocina y Cava is a world class restaurant -- with prices to match. One would be hard-pressed to find a better, more sophisticated meal in Bogota. The setting is unique, the staff is very professional, and the food is simply outstanding. The sous-chef (Chef Leo was not in) and his staff turned out wonderful, creative, locally inspired fare...
