The location is perfect with a view to the sea and the service is great but you don't get valued for money. There are few great dishes (like the tomato salad or the fruit dessert) but there are to many average dishes as well for this exclusive restaurant. When the bill gets to 500 NIS minimum (for 2 diners) every... More

Someone recommended this place to us during our stay in Tel-Aviv so we decided to try it out. (we were a table of 4). We knew it would be on the pricey side but decided to treat ourselves to dinner there since we were on holiday. This place was a real delight. Service was excellent. The staff was very polite,... The service is always flawless, we've been dining there several times and the level is consistent (you should't take this for granted in Tel Aviv). You can't beat the view (come before sunset or for lunch). Business lunch deals (several fixed menu options) are the most cost effective way to enjoy this very expensive place.

The restaurant is very nice, and has a beautiful view of the beach. However, for the price the servings were very small!! I know you aren't always going to get a huge plate but my dinner came with 4 pieces of asparagus, and 2 ravioli (which were terrible!!). Would not go back if and when we go back to tel... More

In chef restaurants the dishes are generally smaller, but there is a limit how small it should be. It is more like samples of food. Good food, Everything we tried had a special taste, a special twist that I have not tried before, but I cannot call it excellent food. or at least not to my taste . The restaurant... More

This is the restaurant of one of the top chefs in Israel - located 2 minutes walk from the beach. Great food - very expansive. Worth coming while visiting Tel-Aviv.

We enjoyed adventuresome food and impeccable service at Herbert Samuel. We ordered the chefs tasting menu and were not disappointed. The swordfish carpaccio with burnt eggplant creme and sage ws one of the best bites of food I have had.

I went there with my wife to celebrate our first anniversary. The reservation and service before, during and after (they called to ask how it was the next day) was excellent. The dishes we ordered we all good, but to be honest, comparing to other chef restaurants, we were amazed. The atmosphere was nice. Nothing more to say.

We have eaten in Herbert Samuel a lot of times, food is very good! I have lived in Tel-Aviv all my life but the ocean view from the second floor (specially during sunset) is still a sight to see. Roshfeld (Chef and owner) is brilliant and so is the food in the restaurant, all in all this is a must... More
