This is the heart of the old Istanbul. Go and visit Sirkeci train station (The old Orient Express Station) if you have the time. Not alot to see but gives the good old feeling. If you go early in the morning where nobody there feel that you are going to see Poirot at any time.

We came for dinner after watching the whirling dervishes at Sirkeci station. We really enjoyed our evening, our last in Istanbul. The owner & other staff are a bit into practical jokes (eg. telling me the toilet was 100m down the road on the right!) but it's all in good fun!

The restaurant is to expensiv, for sure. First friendly , but afterwards you will receive bill!
The food itself is fine, but be careful when you Order your food! Be sure, that you know what is the price you have to pay, otherwise you will receive a 'fantasy' invoice- that was our case.
