Food was tasty, not mind blowing good, but good. The Royal Thai has continued along its serene way, through the many changes of ownership at what is now the Cinnamon Lakeside. Throughout all those changes - at least three that I can think of - the restaurant has consistently delivered high quality Thai food. Not cheap, but very good.

Easily the best Thai cuisine in Colombo...usually...located at the Cinnamon lakeside quite close to the Bussiness district is a great place for both Bussiness lunches and family dinners...all restaurants have their off days..today my tamarind prawn tuned out to be a curry..and the pandan chicken quite dry...some what uncharstersitic of the place...

This is one of the best hotel restaurants that I have eaten in. The food is exceptional and the service could not be faulted. The staff were efficient and did everything possible to ensure a real fine-dining experience.
