Nice location on river front and friendly. The food was OK but had to pick out many bits of woody lemongrass
Worth a try if you are in the area. We stopped at a few place nearby but this one had a lower cost of food and ambiance still seemed nice. I had the chicken saag with naan and it was excellent; very tasty and with a nice amount of heat. My wife had the cao lao noodles with vegetables and... More
Located right in the middle of the riverfront strip, Anjali Restaurant & Bar, has a pleasant, welcoming façade with clean interior. We dined on Friday, 11th October at 7.00pm and found the waiting staff to be prompt and efficient. The food and drinks menu were easy to read, and extensive, with serves being adequate in size and prices reasonable. We... More
We really enjoyed dining here tonight. The satay chicken starter arrived promptly and was very tasty indeed. The main course dishes were all great: amok, prawns, a curry and a veggie dish. Very reasonably priced meals and drinks. Would definitely eat here again.
Being a South Asian, it was challenging for me to eat Cambodian Food. I can not live without Roti (Nan bread). In search of nice meal I landed at Riverside. Anjali restaurant is located next to a Bistro right opposite River. They have Indian menu and Nan Breads of various types. My order was Fish curry and nan. Serving was... More
This restaurant is definitely worth going to, especially if you are in Phnom Penh for quite a while. I lived in Cambodia for a few years and went to Anjali all the time. The location is perfect, it's on riverside, food is cheap and so are the alcoholic beverages. Draft beer is also 0.75c most of the time. The best... More
After 2 days in Phnom Penh I was unhappy with the options for food (expensive and more western than local). We ended up in Anjali after checking a few others. The choice and quality of food was brilliant and more affordable than the other places we looked at before. Worth going, the amok was fantastic!
We stopped here for dinner last night and were not disappointed. They had a good selection of traditional and western dishes, plus a fair amount of vegetarian options. It's right on the riverfront so the people watching is good as well. All of this at a reasonable price makes for a great first night in Cambodia.

The food I had at Anjali was very yummie, tuna fishcakes for starter, chicken char kdout for main course and banana in coconut milk for desert, all of the dishes were tasty and filling. Plus great cocktails, mojito for only $2.25 in happy hour. Good value all round for being by the river.
