A very pleasant experience. High quality on everything. One of the best restaurants I visited in Phnom Penh.
Very nice khmer cuisine.really enjoyed the pork sausages and the special menus snail amok. big variety of food and wine. nice cocktails.stunning restaurant 5 stars from head to toe inside and out.a really good atmosphere thanks to the surrounds. wait staff pretty relaxed.medium price range. overall it was a nice night.
The setting is really nice: elegant, refined and sober, in a somewhat mystical Buddhist atmosphere.
The food is quite good and very well presented.
Nevertheless, I find this place a little over rated and over priced: fusion cuisine is always the same: there is nothing new and is therefore a more touristy place that fashion.
Above all, the service does...

You'll pay a little more at Malis than most Khmer restaurants in Phnom Penh, but in my experience it was definitely worth it. Sitting outside is a lovely experience, although it can be a little hot the ambience is definitely worth it. The night we ate there it was very quiet, so the staff were attending to us almost even...

A very enjoyable dining experience ,not the cheapest but the setting is very stylish and food was delicious. We would return when in PP,
Sat outside by fish pond and found temperature so uncomfortably hot that I didn't really enjoy the evening - although the bathroom was blissfully cool so worth a visit! The food was fine although I've enjoyed less expensive restaurants' food equally well, and they have managed the heat better. (We have been in SE Asia for a month so it's...

Had dinner for 2 here recently. I was lucky to get a table as I didn't book. However, the staff were very helpful and put together a table very quickly in the open-air area. Malis is one of the better Khmer restaurants in Phnom Penh with a well deserved reputation. The service is friendly and efficient, the food is very,...

Ate at Malis last night. It was great. Had the Fish Amok and the beef curry. Both dishes recommended by the super-helpful and pleasant waitress and both dishes were home runs. In Siem Reap now, but will be back in Phnom Penh for the weekend and I will definitely head back to Malis.
We went without a booking but managed to get a table outside (inside seating also available). The garden area is beautiful and it's worth coming to for sundowners. Restaurant seating was a bit cramped, lighting was poor and the menu far too big and complicated. Having said that, what we ordered was delicious and the service good.
