I actually loved most of Hanoi but it can get very busy at some times. To start the day in St Honore was perfect. The baker must be Belgian or French. The croissants and pain au chocolat made me feel as if back in France.

My second time in Hanoi, staying in the Sheraton hotel on the west lake both times. Breakfast in the hotel is expensive so we go to Saint Honore, just a few yards from the front entrance, pretty much every day.
The breakfast prices are great: a couple of quid for petit dejeuner; a little more for english breakfast. The crepes...

I only had a pastry and coffee here, but just driving by I knew I had to stop and go in because it looked so charming from the outside. It was just as cute and cozy inside and I wish it wasn't my last day because I certainly would have gone back. It's on a very cute street near the...

Took the family here for lunch today. Meals western oriented and are better than most restaurants back home. Prices are higher than old qtr but quality makes up. They have a great patissere selection for take away. Am glad we didn't go here earlier as this is all the kids would want to go to. We're enjoying more authentic vietnamese...

This is a perfect place for breakfast, lunch, snack, or a dinner. Located 100m from the Sheraton Hanoi, it is a delicious alternative to the $25 breakfasts offered by the hotel.
The baked goods were great; croissants that are fresh baked every day; baguettes that are crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. European cured meats and imported cheeses...

It's the best bread in town for the time being with no comparison.
It's also a nice place for lunch if you want to get good quality simple food.
The staff are friendly, not always very sharp but it's not an up market restaurant so it's OK.
I strongly recommend this place.

I've purchased bread, cakes, salads from here numerous times - all excellent; this was the first time I've actually eaten in (needed something sweet after Cha Ca Thang Long): hot chocolate was superb, worth the tiny premium to have th 70% cacao version - not too sweet, and packed with deep, chocolate nuances; profiteroles were good..the showstopper were the banana/chocolate...

I end up eating at St Honore at least once a week. The food is consistently good with a range of menu options from daily specials, western entrees, salads, soups, and sandwiches. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. They also have free WiFi. If you are staying in the West Lake area, this is a great place...

We had a meal and three deserts at St Honore and can honestly say that it was absolutely divine.
I had the beef bourguignon and my partner had the chicken with creme tarragon sauce both were delicious.
For desert we coud not fault the profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce, the baked cheesecake and the creme caramel.
The atmosphere on the...
