Unfortunately it was not until our last day that we had lunch at this delightful restaurant high on top of our hotel, the Hanoi Elegance Diamond. The food was really excellent and it is lovely to have such a good option in house when you are a weary traveller! We ate from the Vietnamese menu and everything was delicious. More

Been to the restaurant after the massage at the Spa on the 2nd floor of the hotel, The restaurant was at the good place of the Old city and we can also enjoyed the view of the city. We ordered some quite basic food as my wife had tried Little Hanoi before. The grilled eggplant was not very special at... More

I wouldn't normally suggest trying 'street food' anywhere other than the street....but I really do recommend the "Cha Ca Va Long" here....ignore the Western stuff and order this dish....white fish, marinaded in galangal, dill and turmeric then grilled and mixed with spring onions and red chillies in a clay pot....wrap it in rice paper with vermicelli, roasted peanuts, crispy shallots... On the 12th Floor of the Elegance Hotel, offering a great view of the lake & Hanoi City. Vietnamese & western food. We came to Vietnam for the food so we didn't even glance at the western dishes. Our evening began with a beer promotion buy 2 get the third free. Spring rolls/ Nem Hanoi & Hue style for an... More

We were fortunate to be staying at the Hanoi Elegance Diamond and this is the hotel restaurant on the 12th floor. All of the tables are around the wall of the restaurant affording a view towards the Hoan Kiem Lake or Red River. It was a nice perspective. Each morning we had complimentary breakfast here and enjoyed the buffet and... More

Our family of five were staying in the old quarter of Hanoi and after two days of just walking around and trying to find some where to eat we thought we give this place a go as was rated well on trip advisor and only 100m from where we were staying. The first impression is wow as you are seated... More

Needing to get away from the chaos and noise of the streets below, went to this restaurant and was not disappointed with the quiet it afforded. Small with just a few tables, it had a 360 degree view of the gray, damp and generally depressing surroundings on the rainy season, but it made me feel glad to be up there,... More

Quiet respite in the midst of the noise and heat. Courteous receptionists greet you at the lobby once you enter and helpfully direct you to the lift. Be sure to pick a table where you can see the lovely views. Suggest to be there slightly earlier like 630pm before the dinner crowd comes, and you will get to see the... More
