Lovely place with tasty cakes & drink, have both indoor & out-door place though not quite spacy. However, there's no parking lot so better come here on foot :) More

Much as we travellers love authenticity and getting to know the real feel of a place, there are times when you just have to accept that you are too hot and too tired of being almost run over by a moped. This is the perfect spot to head for some air conditioned tranquillity which I found I needed at times... More

...for being there in the crazy Old Quarter when we need some comfort food. Great sandwiches, reasonable coffee and good cakes. Try the lemon slice, it really is delicious and only 25000 dong ( just over a dollar). They serve a large range of drinks and coffees. A small latte costs 40000 dong ($2). More

Western style modern cafe, with AC and lots of space if you want to sit down with your computer. Food is okay. Fruit juices are somehow not as good as everywhere else is Hanoi, not recommended, but the iced coffee is delicious. You have to order at the counter every time, which is a bit messy, especially if you come... More

Joma at 22 Ly Quoc Su in the Old Quarter of Hanoi just about a block and a half northwest of St. Joseph's Cathedral is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or a light dinner. Of course, you can indulge your sweet tooth there with a myriad of baked goods and flavored coffees and teas. The atmosphere is simple modern... More

The coffee and food here is fantastic. What put me off considerably though was the poor service. Firstly I see one of the service staff coughing into one of the takeaway food containers and then proceeding to put food in it and sell it to a customer (who obviously had not noticed). Also I stood in the queue to get... More

As a westerner it is sometimes nice to find a little place like this, somewhere where you feel like you're more 'at home' and where people really understand what you're saying! The cinnamon buns here are outstanding (better than the one I tasted in Stockholm!) and the coffee is REAL. Not with chicorei or anything :) More

Superb food, friendly staff, clean, wide choice, lots of options for seating. Bigger than it looks. I went there four times in two days as I found it just before I left Hanoi. Prices are probably 70% of what you'd pay in a Western country. I don't mind paying for quality. Get the brownies, coconut bar, cakes, fresh bagels....! More
