Close to the center of town. Very friendly staff. Food tasty. In and outside seating. A good place to stop for a drink or light lunch.

My partner and I dined here on our first night in Dalat being guided by Lonely Planet. We became concerned when we were only diners in restaurant. The food was extremely slow in coming out. My partner ordered squid stuffed with pork which did not taste right from the first mouthful. I ordered chicken in a hotspot. It was so...

We're sorry you didn't have a good experience at the Art Cafe. This is quite surprising since we have received so much good feedback from our repeat customers on the dishes you mentioned. Having said that, we understand in this type of business you cannot please 100% of your guests. For this reason, we allow the staff to change a...

What can I say....Food, beer, and a generous tip still came in at under the equivalent of £10 for two of us.
We had the most beautiful smokey beef served in herb rolls (loi let?), lotus root & chicken salad with Vietnamese dressing, chicken with chilli and lemongrass and "snowballs" - minced pork covered in rice flakes and then deep...

Enjoyed my meal. The ambience is quite special, with art hanging from the walls. Met the owner, very friendly and offered a few travel tips. Highly recommended.
This restaurant offered good food and choice. The restaurant itself was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The drinks were good and we ate early so there was little waiting.
What struck me first about the Art Café was the 6 very clean tables each with a substantial original artwork above it. They were surrounded by sets of unusual wooden panels, similar but all different abstract mosaics. From the menu, although simple it had a more than adequate range, I had chicken, cashew nuts and rice. There was plenty of...

The food was good but the service was more driven by the customer than the staff. Given that there were only 4 people in the restaurant food arrived quickly, but they had to be chased for top-ups of water and beer. They could have had a sweet and coffee out of us if they had asked, but they didn't. Nice...

I came here this evening with my partner. There was only one the couple when we went in but filled up within the time we were there which shows its popularity. We ordered two pizza's. There was quite a wait for the first to arrive and then another long wait for the second, I can only think that they have...

I love this lil cafe. I was in Dalat for a month and was able to go to Art cafe several times a week without being bored. They have wonderful Vietnamese starters. The best beef la lot in town including the more expensive places. A big choice for mains. Mexican, Vietnamese, fusion & some great vegetarian dishes. Halfway through my...

First meal in Dalat. Nice food, pleasant atmosphere. (There's a bit of confusion with the "New Art Cafe"... I'm reviewing the one at address 76 not 70). This is in the backpacker area but is a pleasant place to eat. Mexican dishes that I tried were all surprisingly decent.
