Great place for just jazz but skip the food and service if you can help it. Terribly slow, inflexible service and very average food for the prices considering BKK is such a great city for food with many places offering far better for less.

great addition to the Banglampoo scene! Live-Jazz music played by professionals, where you can actually enjoy the acoustics (unlike at their previous location behind Lumphini Park). I also found the food in all its variety very agreeable, the prices very reasonable. Definitely a Must Visit!
Title says it all......cappuccino 45 baht......strong wifi.....groovy jazz music....nice and relaxing.....a good place to chillax
I spent a couple of hours here on my last evening in Bangkok, and loved it.

Go there for music at night, and drink. Food is not tasty and a bit pricy. The new place is much bigger than the old one at Langsuan.
This is the very good choice to go if you love jazz music. I love to go to this place since it was located on Langsuan Road, but it is now moved to the new place where is quite far away from Bangkok Center. It, however, is worth going still! If you are there, don't forget to order fried pork...

We have been in this place a couple of times, but regret that our last visit was not what we expected. The thai "jazzband" that was performing was absolutely far below what we expected. The discountcard which was presented to us during our last visit was not valid anymore, and when we got the bill we noticed that they charged...

One can find western bars in Bangkok, but seldom they come in such original form as Brown Sugar does. In essence it is your regular jazz bar with a husky atmosphere. Promise of good music and alcohol fueled small-hours-parties, old posters and even older horns in display cases and the mandatory whisky sponsor coasters. What sets Brown Sugar apart is...

What a place to get to from Sathorn area. Looked simple on the map but took five phone calls to the manager between my Thai colleagues and the taxi driver to find the place. It was a Saturday night so traffic was not light, however it took us over 90 minutes to get there. From the outside looks very nice...

The new Brown Sugar has done the job! With all of the same old jazz bands like in Sarasin rd. and also the unique food we don't hesitate to enjoy chilling around here in weekends ;)
