This is one of those places you either stumble across when you are lost in Taipei, or you read such good reviews that you are inspired to seek it out. Tucked into a tiny alley somewhere behind Taipei Main Station and QSquare, it is a gem of friendly service and good food. The prices fall on the higher end as... More

I visit Taipei and I can not miss the chance to eat again with a taste of home, as my mom cooks it. Simple dishes while complex, are close to a wide range of Spanish wines a menu that makes you remember and miss the place, so whenever I can, do not hesitate to spend some time on La Caja... More

I have been to Spain and eaten a lot of tapas. I had read the reviews and was looking forward to trying the place. Was quite disappointed. One of the tapas used tuna can, the squid tapas had a not too fresh taste and the paella rice was overcooked. The recommended wine was not bad but no wow effect. The... More

Ok, I would like to explain it with words, but it is difficult because I am very happy. Wonderful restaurant! Very good food, good atmosphere. Advisable place. If you... More

This was our first Spanish food experience and what a great experience! From the moment you walk into La Cara details Musica you feel welcomed. We did not make reservations (highly recommended) so we dined at the bar. But this enabled us to chat with the owners and learn about their culture and experiences. It was like visiting with an... After being more than 10 years out of Spain, just few places made me to experience same feelings than in my own country. Difficult to believe I found one of them 10000 kms far away from Spain. I’m not just speaking about the food which is excellent in this restaurant, but specially the people working in there. People is the... More

Tucked inside of a historic Taipei back alley, two musician friends serve up a fresh and delicious Spanish meal. If you are lucky you can coerce them to play you some tunes. Downstairs they have set up a stage for live music. A cultural gem in Taipei.

La Caja de Musica is the perfect spot to discover the typical Spanish tapas. Try the Tortilla Española, Sepia a la Plancha or of course the Paella. Also the different tapas, small plates with all the flavor from Spain. With a very nice decoration, Ramses and Luis (the owners) will help you to decide introducing the dishes on the menu.... More
