Pleasant atmosphere in this quirky restaurant, a mix of old Moroccan grandeur and garden centrel! The food was reasonable price, average quality but came in decent time and was piping hot. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Nice setting with many tables outdoor and indoor. Menu is quite comprehensive and provides a choice of many typical Moroccan cuisine (pastille, tajines, couscous, etc.). Both starters and main course were king size but with some flaws that do not allow for excellence. Price is adequate to the service and food.
We went there after our Riad recommended it. I honestly don't understand why. The food wasn't nice at all and was overcooked (a couscous and a chicken tajine) and the place wasn't as nice as expected and didn't seem clean.
Not particularly good food and a odd atmosphere. Cutlery wasn't clean. Food was greasy and poor attention to detail. Lamb tasted a lot more like mutton.
Have been coming to Dar Mimoun for 15 years. A most romantic, tatty, batty, place. I believed BOTH the previous reviewers --it can be great and it can be not so great. That said, it is a curiosity --the decor quite astounding. My husband really liked his tagine. Reasonable prices. Worth a try and go to look anyway.
Of all our meals on our trip, this restaurant had the best setting and atmosphere! Hidden slightly away, you are greeted by one of the friendliest Moroccans who just wants you to see inside his restaurant! Once you do so, you will want to stay! The food is good, but the setting is even better! If you like the idea...

Don't normally review but felt I had to about this.went on trip advisor recommendation for a romantic dinner on last night of holiday.we were ignored when we went in, food arrived very quickly and was the blandest meal we had eaten in 2 Weeks. Surly waiter, tables left uncleared, no atmosphere at all. Not worth the money...this was the most...

We remembered seeing this restaurant mentioned in Lonely Plant, so decided to eat there one night. We enjoyed a fixed price 3 course meal for 180 DH which included soft drinks (no alcohol served) and tea. It had a lovely ambience and was beatifully decorated, like an Arabian palace, with carved & mosaic walls and colourful furnishings. We especially enjoyed...

We opted for this restaurant following a lonely planet recommendation, looking for good traditional morrocan food close to the central square. This place is an oasis from the noise of the street with beautiful courtyard setting and stunning interior sitting areas.
We had an early dinner (about 5pm) as we were travelling with a young baby and were the only...

Unlike many other "tourist" restaurants in Marrakech Dar Mimoun is not only authentic Moroccan food but a very affordable prices. The Moroccan starter dishes are excellent ... some ten or so different and tasty dishes ... more than sufficient for two to share. The main courses are similarly superb and there is no problem if, similarly, you wish to share...
