The setting was beautiful, the food great and the staff are very polite & professional. I would definitely recommend although its on the expensive side for Morocco.
This Cafe/Restaurant is superbly located in the centre of the Medina - an oasis amidst the bustle and cramp of its surroundings. The food was simple but of a high quality and good value. The service was warm and efficient. The setting was stunning - in the midst of a lush and well tended riad.
After long bus ride and the bustling medina, we were delighted to see the beautiful garden, tasted the refreshing wine. The restaurant does not have set menu, waiter showed us that night's offers on big blackboard. We had fish pastilla, which was not sweet and very good. We had leftover next day and it was still good. Would definitely visit... More
Cafe Fes is set within a beautiful Riad garden, romantically lit at night. The food is very good, a modern take on traditional modern dishes and somewhat lighter, including excellent fish. The menu is short, around three choices for each course, and freshly cooked. Wine and beer are served. Expect to pay around £20/25 a head. The garden is a... More
We went here with few friends during looking for a nice and getaway from busy Medina. It is nice Riad with a beautiful garden. We enjoyed food as well. However, we found the food overpriced compared to other places in Fes, while atmosphere was not as nice as we expected.
The recommendation to have a meal - which turned into the plural - was made by the owner of the Riad we stayed in. It was like walking into a wonderland as we entered from the narrow street to be greeted by the guardian and escorted into the most beautiful garden imaginable. From then on everything was first class, to... More
Fes Cafe is situated in a former mansion with a great garden in the medina. The garden is serene and beautiful, truly a great place after wondering in the hustle and bustle of the Fes medina. The food and service are both very good. Recommended!
Stunning gardens in the middle of the Medina of Fes. Menu was presented in French and so I had a ' cote de veau' while my partner had sole fish rolls. While my steak was rather consistent the fish rolls where more like a starter and so she left rather hungry. We were shocked by the prices. 90 Dirhams for... More
We had an excellent meal here and the service was attentive and timely. The food was good and well priced. I had the duck and mango salad and then the sea bass steamed in a fig leaf with vegetables. Was very delicious. Has alcohol. I recommend this place.
We just had lunch here which was all the more fun because we cooked it ourselves! We did a cooking class which commenced with a guided walk to the medina markets to buy the necessary ingredients tomatoes, aubergines, capsicums, carrots, courgettes, almonds, bstilla (pastry) and a chicken. All items were hand selected and bargained for using dirhams, great fun and... More
