every dish here is very tasteful and big, but also big is the price. Either way, I would recommend going, the variety is great and all dishes are really good!
I ate there almost every day, and sometimes twice a day during my June, 2011 trip to Belize. It was a 2 min walk from my beach side cottage. I usually kept my breakfast simple: yogurt, toast and fruit. Simple but delicious and artfully presented. The best dinner was seafood fritters, rice and veggies, oh my! It's open air cafe... More
Every year for the last 21 years, I have been bringing a group down to Belize ( www.bookbagsanta.com ), and our base in Placencia is always the Seaspray Hotel. For the one-, or 2 week stay, everybody spreads all over town, trying the different restaurants... and without fail, at the end of the trip they all say that the best... More
We visited De Tach twice in the same day. The first time we went for breakfast. The fry jacks, breakfast potatoes and breakfast burrito was excellent. The view is incredible as you are sitting outside under a thatched roof just steps from the beach. They even have seating on the beach so you can dine with the sand in your... More
I'd never thought of going to De Tatch for dinner until the hotel owner praised it. I've always gone there for breakfast since their fryjacks are so awesome. We took our student group for dinner, and the food was amazing in every way. I had to try a bite of everyone's food...to review it, yeah, that's the ticket. The grilled... More

I had a chance to stop in twice at the this little beach side joint and the food amazing. The conch fritters were especially phenomenal! The view and atmosphere is unlike like anyway where else in the world. They are blessed, seeing that the dining tables are literally just ten paces from the water. During both visits our servers was... More
I had three meals at De Tatch, two breakfasts and one dinner. I highly recommend this place for their Stuff Jack, a big empanada shaped fried ball of dough stuffed with typical breakfast items: eggs, bacon, cheese etc. It is big enough for two people. If you feel the urge to be healthy order a plate of fresh fruit, fruit... More
We ate here on two occasions. The first time we shared a fish and chips which was decent, but when we went back later I can't remember what we ate but I do remember it wasn't very good. Also they seem to get overwhelmed when they are busy. We waited a long time (about 40 minutes) for our food and... More
This place is located beach side and is very convenient for quick meals. Breakfast was a good mix of local and western staples - the French toast and jack frys are delicious! Dinner was ok - their food is really geared towards tourists since they are part of the Seaspray Hotel next door. My husband got the cilantro grilled snook... More
