The owner waited on us; he was waiter, bartender, chef and busboy last night. Very nice. We went to this rest. with ur German father thinking we'd order fish. After talking about the food we ordered one of every Austrian dish. They were amazing. Also had two appetizers which were great. I recommend if looking for a taste of Europe. More

This place excels at Austrian/German food, so if you're looking if you need wienerschnitzel but someone else wants fish with vegs they've got you covered. Exceptional wines for the area. Great chef Herbert, who you will meet, and good service. The place is located right close to Robert's Grove and has a beautiful dining room. I like to go before... More

Danube was great last year, and it is wonderful still. Dinner started with dollop of wonderful tapenade to spread on slices of yummy dense bread. We had an appetizer of excellent feta cheese and green olives, followed by a very nice mixed salad. I had the Wienerschnitzel with a near-perfect cold potato salad. The Malbec we ordered was very good... More

I went on a Monday evening and was the only person there. I expected more given other TripAdvisor ratings. I ordered the goulash and spaetzel...nothing special. The "three balls" dessert was the memorable part...three different flavors of ice cream with a variety of toppings. The business is for sale...I can understand why. Too bad. More

We are sorry if you were not impressed, however we can assure you that customer service as well as the quality of our food and venue have highest priority for us, regardless if we are selling the property or not. The fact that at the time of your visit you were the only guest should not have affected your dinner... More

Came there with two friends and we were very warmly received. Everyone of us was more than satisfied with his/her meal choice, the Spätzle were absolutely tasty and the wine was a good recommendation. The absolute highlight however was the desert: Salzburger Nockerln, the real thing, just the way you would get them in Austria, and one helping easily feeds... More

We tried the weiner schnitzel with fries at the Danube restaurant. The schnitzel was bland, and tasted like it had been refried. It just didn't seem freshly made. The fries were ok, but nothing great for the price of the meal. The only decent thing was the bottle of wine we got. More

This was our first visit to Danube, but it will not be our last. From the minute we walked into the restaurant until we left, we felt so welcomed. We had dinner on the outside deck which is screened in, so no problems with bugs. It is very tastefully decorated. The menu has something to offer for everyone's palate. If... More

Loved our dinner at Danube last night and Simone is a wonderful proprietor. I enjoyed my spinach Spaetzle with Gorgonzola cream sauce and the killer dumpling desserts, especially the ones filled with dark chocolate. If you are looking for something unique, different and interesting for dinner you won't be disappointed. More

As certified foodies we're always looking for new tastes and experiences during our travels, and we were amazed when we stopped in at Danube during our trip to Belize. Over our dinner there (and our next couple of return visits... yes, we went back three times in one week!!) we enjoyed delightful dumplings, goulash, and of course the requisite cabbage... More
