Been eating there for the 30+ years they have been open the Que, the stew, the BBQ slaw, the pie, and their fabulous breakfast can't be beat. I am a BBQ professional and this place epitomizes the unique East Alabama style of BBQ . It's as iconic as any famous BBQ joint in America and always delivers the quality and... More

Their BBQ is so so, however their breakfast is great! Cooked to order biscuits, pancakes, french toast, grits, eggs, bacon, sausage etc. and you have to try their sweet tea.

We stopped here on our way down to Florida and were traveling with our youngest child, who is a very picky eater. I ordered him a BBQ sandwich with the sauce on the side, and although the sauce is already in the chipped pork, they used sliced pork and chopped it on the block. Then, my son tried and refused... We had an event recently at the Barbecue House in Auburn, Alabama and it was such a terrific experience. The owner, Jeff was simply delightful and his food was INCREDIBLE! Our whole dinner party loved the experience from the lovely people behind the counter serving sweet tea to the servers that consistently refilled the pork tips, bbq ribs, chicken and... More

That sandwich is just like it was when I went to school at Auburn. One bite and the memories flooded back. I love that sandwich.

The Price family has owned this restaurant in Auburn for many years. Convenient to the AU campus, it is a popular spot for students and townspeople. The breakfast menu is very popular and the BBQ dinners, sandwiches, and sides are great. I especially like the Brunswick stew. Conveniently located on College Street, the Barbecue House is a good choice for... More

We went there on a Saturday, and they close around 3 pm. Selections were limited. No BBQ chicken which I had my heart (and stomach) set on!. Service just okay, college kids who were not very friendly. BBQ plate was good. Considering the local prices elsewhere, very good value for the money. Stew was good. Everything was just that "good".... More

fun to eat here because it is across the street from the University and always there are students and professors there. Still, not the best in town.

If you're in town on a weekday, Barbecue House is the place to go for breakfast. They serve all the traditional southern breakfast fare in a relaxed, grab the next table atmosphere. I have been going to the Barbecue House for breakfast since I was in college and on my most recent visit, the quality has not decreased at all.... More

They have been consistently good over the years. We enjoy the sliced pork sandwich with slaw. Easy stop for home games. Friendly service, lots of student trade since it is just across the street from campus.
