We were very excited to come here given the great ratings on trip advisor and also from friends living in DC. If you don't have a reservation, I don't know how long the wait time would be. With a reservation, we still waited but the bar is hip, well stocked - if you don't mind standing among people eating (makes... More

Good Indian food, with great service and a good wine list. Once again Washington DC Zagat uses hyperbole to describe food that is good and rates it at 28. Rasika is very good for an Indian restaurant but it is nowhere close to being a culinary delight. Of the three dishes I ate two were mediocre and one was excellent.... More

This is my new best Indian restaurant in North America. Before last night, VJ's in Vancouver, BC was the best Indian food I had ever tasted. But Risika takes the prize. This is a popular place so reservations are necessary. Dining by myself this evening I chose to sit at the bar and while crowded, was an excellent decision. I... More

Excellent food and service, good ambiance, reasonable price. One of the best Indian restaurants we have been. More expensive than most but worth the price. Certainly a winner. We will come back when in DC from the suburbs

Had to talk hubby into going here as he's not really into Indian food. We both loved it! The spinach appetizer is amazing, not like anything I've ever had. The sea bass was wonderful, with unique flavoring. We ordered the garlic pita bread and ate every last bit. The atmosphere is fun and trendy. We were not able to get... More

The atmosphere is great here and by far this is a popular restaurant, however the food was rather bland and lacking flavor. I spoke with a friend who is much more familiar with this restaurant and Indian cuisine and she stated it was a toned down version of traditional Indian fare in a fusion style. The Indian restaurants in Los... More

Order the fried spinach. It was the best thing we ate on our trip to Philly and DC. Was able to walk in and get a lunch table without a reservation

I admittedly had not been a fan of Indian food but Rasika changed my view. Absolutely some of the best food I have eaten anywhere. I frankly would be happy with some of the spicy side dishes but the entrees have great variety and I haven't found a disappointment yet.
