We loved the atmosphere and the food and drinks were good. An impressive tableau of chocolate sculptures is also on display. Very cosy and friendly.
I'm mad about chocolad and cozy atmosthere in this choco-cafe in the heart of Old town! Prices could be cheaper, but a big cup with perfect Latte reconcils me with destiny :-)
I came here with my boyfriend. I had the cocoa and cheese cake and he had the warm chocolate and muffin. Note that in Lithuania there is a big difference between cocoa and warm chocolate, cocoa is the drinking one and warm chocolate is simply melted chocolate, which normally to me is like warm chocolate pudding, this one however seemed... I will not per se, make a detour , to enter the place but while you are waking gedimino prospekt, why not try this chocolate bar with various "pralines " and some hot chocolate to drink. Everything is home made, even the Ice cream. The service is quiet poor and English is not always an option. Lithuanian and Russian language... More
I can't say even a one bad word about cakes or chocolate, however serivice is a disaster! Espresso you need to wait for ages, it is always cold when they bring it.Also, the stuff who works in Pilies street is 'too fresh', not knowing how to make one or other coffee.
We didn't eat here, but ordered some chocolate drinks. I ordered a "chocolate irish coffee" and my girlfriend a "milk chocolate" drink. I took forever before we got the irish coffee and it tasted like cocoa... No taste of whisky at all! I asked the waiter if he had put whisky in it and he said yes, but I'm not... More
This is a delicious chocolate cafe in the heart of the old Town with plenty of space inside and also a nice seating area outside. We went twice in three days as the choice of chocolate cakes is so tempting. Helpful hint - the cakes are priced per 100g so your bill won't be for the exact price stated on... More
Walking back to the old town during a down pour, I was delighted to stumble across this place, as I had marked it down as a place I wanted to eat in. When I entered none of the staff were forthcoming in welcoming me, and I had to ask if it was ok for me to take a seat anywhere.... More
A great place to stop for a drink and a sweet treat. Lots to choose from and provided you are a Chocoholic you will be fine. Can be a little busy at times but I guess that merely reflects the quality of food served there. If you don’t want to stay for refreshments then there is an exhaustive selection of... More
I've been twice. The hot chocolate was so good the first time, I had it again the second time. Thick and dark, you need the spoon to scoop out the last bit. If you have had breakfast chocolate in Spain, you'll know what I mean. Recommended.
