The building is amazing, with gilt and frecos everywhere, you don't know where to look. The staff are attentive and the cakes are just beautiful. Its well worth a visit on Stop 8 on the Red Bus Line.

The New York Palace cafe is quite an outstanding place, we went for afternoon tea, its not cheap but the surroundings and service are worth every penny. Tea was superb, cakes looked amazing but didnt taste as good as they looked! but hey you would pay the price even without cake!! One not to be missed.
This is very touristy but rightly so. The building is beautiful with large high ceilings and lots of light and fresh flowers. The service was attentive and very polite. It's rare to find somewhere that serves such lovely food in Budapest so is worth a visit. Slightly more expensive than other restaurants but comparitive to the UK. The wine was...

Having visited this restaurant in 1990 and returning this month for an update, I would say it has kept the feel while raising it's prices quite a bit. If you can't eat there, at least have a coffee so that you can enjoy the magnificent decoration of the NY Caffee! It is breathtaking and it feels like traveling back through time! When leaving, not forget to visit the Boscolo hotel hall, it breaths luxury but above all, magnificent architecture!! Must do
Was a dream to have such good coffee in this awesome place while beautiful songs were playing on the piano The service also was solicitous I will never forget this place!
I think that it's a special place where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of delicious cake late in the afternoon after a day's walk around the city, or why not, early in the evening... It's very classy but there are all sorts of people going there so don't feel stressed if you're not in a...

Visited here on our recent trip to Budapest. Although quite expensive compared to some restaurants here, well worth every forint! Very lavish decor and food quite excellent although not massive portions.

The food was really good, but I...

This cafe is the most luxurious and opulent I have dined in .For lunch we ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and veal goulash soup ,a signature national dish .We loved the quality ,presentation and taste of our dishes .The service was impeccable and delivered with butler precision .A truly memorable dining experience .
