We visited this restaurant based on the reviews from TA. We were not disappointed. It is in a great location on Florianska. The food is quite good and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. We especially enjoyed the beets side dish. The dessert, warm apple cake was soggy and only so so.

We spent a week in Krakow and were so lucky to come upon this place early on. It's not easy to find from the street but once you walk inside you get to experience a really lovely barn atmosphere with great service. The food, though, was absolutely fantastic (I was travelling with a Pole who compared it to his mother's... More

Of our 3 nights away we ate there 2. Stumbled across this restaurant whilst exploring the town it is a must. Full of charm. The restaurant is made up of wooden benches and tables, log fire, with a rustic look. The food is amazing, a must is traditional Polish Soup and beetroot. The main courses of meat, fish and traditional... More

Found this restaurant after wandering around that part of Krakow; looking for somewhere quick and easy to eat. The setting is a rustic one, it felt like I'd stepped back into a Poland of yesteryear with a real fire, fur rugs and wooden benches. The service was nice and quick, though the restaurant was pretty quiet at the time so... More

Stopped off at Stodola in the afternoon for a quick drink and warm up from the -10 conditions outside. Loved the look and feel of the place so decided to return in the evening. Reserved our table (no problem). All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the herring to start which was lovely, followed by the duck... More

This is by far the best restaurant that we visited in Krakow.Wide range of polish food excellently cooked. The staff are very pleasant, the restaurant has a rustic setting with an open log fire. Down a long corrridor on the right of ul. florianska heading away from the Rynek. Prices are very good, a full meal for two with drinks... More

This is a good place to make a short stop and grab a bit to eat, while exploring the beautiful city of Krakow. There are a range of items on the menu, including traditional Polish food. For the adventurous, the menu also has "hot beer", which clarified by the waitress to be "warm beer". But since I like my beer... More

Absolutely great. I loved the friendly service, the pork I had first day and the duck I had second day. OK, admittedly, the second day return was mainly because I wanted to continue my Emile Zola library book which I had left there the night before.(at this very moment, a major series on BBC2 in UK, nothing like the book)....
