We called into Mooloolaba for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning. We chose Olivers as they had the last table on the Esplanade that was shaded ! The staff were cheerful and efficient. The bacon and egg breakfast very good. My wife tried the bircher muesli and gave it two thumbs up.
As a group of four we ended up choosing this place for breakfast on Saturday. The weather was great and we sat outside. With plenty of other dining options to choose from, we were hoping for a good feed.
They offered gluten free options including bread/toast, however they overcooked the GF toast to the point it was like a rock!...

Did a lap of the esplanade and decided to go back to Oliver's Café because of the waffles. For $13.00 there were 2 large waffles and 3 slices of bacon with maple syrup. Tasted great but the reality is the price...realistically $6.00 would still be a profitable price. Asked for water and ended up having to get it ourselves.
Oliver's Café is one of many choices for outdoor dining along the esplanade at Mooloolaba. What really made our meal there a great experience was the service, particularly with our young toddler. Meals were missing ingredients. Took 25 minutes to receive meals and the meal quality was something I could have knocked up at home after a massive night out! Don't waist your time or money!
We have only ever had breakfast brunch here and never disappointing from one year to the next. The service is attentive ... their cakes and coffee are delightful and fresh.
Nice spot on the esplanade but tired looking decor, very average breakfast. Firstly, cream in my coffee wasnt fresh, scrambled egg special tasteless, buttered toast tasted rancid, however the grilled tomatoes were delicious. Wouldn't go back as not particularly good value and plenty of other places to eat.
We always drove to Noosa when we want to have a nice meal. But a recent visit to this cafe by chance changed our view of Mooloolaba.
Asian noodle salad with nuoc cham dressing I had was excellent. My husband had a steak sandwich which he really enjoyed. Cakes were OK.
Very good value and attentive service. I would definitely...

Only ate at Oliver's for one meal (lunch on a Saturday) & found the food very tasty. We looked at different restuarants the night before & Oliver's definitely had the cheapest food of all the places we looked at, so we chose it for lunch the next day.
Would definately eat here again next time I am in town. The...
