Average pub grub at restaurant prices, however the service is good. An unseasoned chicken schnitzel (half the size of a dinner plate) accompanied with a mountain of French fries and an un-inspiring salad, leaves me wondering why I came back. My wife’s garlic prawns with the identical accompaniments also showed a lack of imagination. Serving sizes are way over the... More

For Katherine this place serves good coffee and the food is reasonable too. I have been eating here whenever I am in town and it is consistently good - actually I think the coffee is getting better!!

We recently attended a private function with an 8 course dinner at the Silver Screen Cafe. Being a fussatarian I was a little worried I couldn't eat many of the courses but I was pleasantly surprised. Each course had an option which I could eat. All courses the food was of a standard you would have in a silver service... More

Just ate the biggest, fluffiest scones ever! The staff are friendly and helpful - the coffee is excellent. Will definitely return.

Dear staff just looking and grunting at me is not the same as hello, what would you like (smiling). To scared now to try any food i opted for a $4.50 latte, very glad i didnt... More

Excellent food with quick service. Atmosphere was great. It is a pity this cafe is not open in the evenings.

Standard fare but well executed. Very popular for breakfast, dont expect the place to be open for an evening meal before taking in a movie.

Like the title says, coming from a big city it's nice to get some genuine home style cake and a good cup of coffee. Nothing flash, but we liked it.

I recommend the coffee and the lamb yiros and the chicken and avacado toasted sandwiches. Friendly service, and reasonable price.
