Just paid $17 for a cold unmade silverside sandwich. Took 15 minutes for my dish to arrive, and when it did it was a chopping board arranged with some bits and pieces as if they are expecting customers to create something cohesive out of the ingredients. I thought that's what chefs are supposed to do? The silverside itself was cold... More

The atmosphere is really good with views of the beach, and you may be lucky to see horses walking in the water. Sunny days are great to sit out on the deck if it is not too windy. I have dined here a few times and I always find the menu has many nice dishes to select from. I am... More

I've been here a few times, most recently had the vegie breakfast, highly recommended. Good coffee, nice cakes, especially the blondies. A great place to relish in the atmosphere of Warrnambool, overlooking the ocean with good food and in the mornings you can watch the horses swimming. A great walk along the ocean to get there. It can get busy... More

We have been here a few times. Breakfast is great, with a good selection for kids. Lunch is a limited menu and a bit pricey for what you get. Coffee is not the nicest, although the cake selection is always good. This place gets very busy during holiday periods and its best to book to ensure you get a table.... More

Went with a group of friends. My lunch was nice but one of the group didn't get a meal. She ended up eating someone else's leftovers as she ran out of time. The coffee orders were wrong and then it wasn't great. Asked for more water a couple of times but none appeared.

I had the Bruschetta which was overpriced at (@ $15 to $16) for what it was. Basically two bits of stale, dry bread on top of each other with a few cherry tomatoes and a couple of cheese balls thrown on top. There wasn't enough flavour/oil to soak into the bread. The first time I went to Pavillion Cafe, I... More

We had been to this cafe before and had been served some very good local battered fish. As a result we ordered it again. While we were waiting for ours we noticed some of the fish being served appeared to be quite well done. When ours arrive two serves were ok, but the third had one piece of fish that... More

Originally turned up here for a few pre-dinner beers, but it unfortunately closes at 5pm. So we returned the next day and had breakfast. The service was friendly if a little slow, but the food was well worth waiting for. Great location with ocean views. Highly recommended.

Great location. Excellent service and food. Can't get much closer to the water and the endless stream of horses taking an early morning dip was a source of great entertainment!

We came to the Pavilion Cafe three times during our short holiday to Warrnambool, one visit being just for drinks. It was busy most of the time. The service was ok, and the staff seemed friendly enough. Our first breakfast trip was good and the food was tasty. The eggs benedict was quite nice and my partner had a scone... More
