This restaurant is on the water in the main street and easy to find with its red sail illuminated at night. A good menu and a surprisingly good wine list. Serves are large so take advice from the attentive staff. The meal was delicious. Anything with local seafood in it is a must!

Visiting this place is a total must! Previously living in Lakes Entrance I visited the Floating Dragon very regulary with friends and now every time I make a trip back to lakes I make sure I stop in. The staff are amazing, the view is sensational but the food is just out of this world. I can't recommend the Floating... More

Generally visit once a month for a pleasant meal with friends. Outlook across the water is great. Food is always tasty and well presented.

Wheelchair friendly entrance, however no accessible toilet. Great entree of homemade dumpling (wonton) sampler & we enjoyed the duck spring rolls. A little expensive but the staff were GREAT, worked very hard & the service was spot on. No excuse however not to have a decent Sav Blanc under $30/bottle. Night time ambience was good not great but would be... More

We had planned on dining somewhere else but they were booked out so ended up here instead, what a surprise, the restaurant was full but hey fitted us in on the one remaining table. Yes service was slow, yes it's expensive but yes it's worth the wait & the staff were great. The tasting plate was fantastic, the calamari was... More

I read the previous reviews on trip advisor which had advised the service was very slow but I though we would give it a go. We booked for 6.00pm hoping to beat the dinner rush and avoid slow service but it was not to be. We were greeted by friendly wait staff on our arrival and shown to our table... More

We had a booking at 8.30 because it was a very busy. So glad we did. The food and service was great. To start we had the entree teasing plate to share. Very generous with crab spring rolls, sesame prawn toasts and the best calamari we have ever had. We shared the garlic prawns with veg and crispy beef in... More

The Floating Dragon is perfectly located on the lake, which gives you beautiful scenery of boats and the glistening water. When i say go with 4 or more people, it isn't because i would rather more company than just my girlfriend.. it is because the portions are huge! We were warned this by our waitress and it does state on... More

Great location and beautiful food, but where do they get off charging $40 for a Chinese dish that we can get back home for around $17, 4 of us adults had a main course each and desert each, we had 6 beers, 2 glasses of wine, 1 cocktail and 1 bottle of sparkling water, all cost $314, do you believe...
