I liked this place because during the festival even though they were extremely busy they always accommodated us even with a large amount of people in our group. The food was really good and so was the coffee. We were there for breakfast

We have just had a very enjoyable dining experience at Bellakai once again. The new winter menu is delicious, the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals......Scallops & Prawn entree so clean, fresh and a delight to eat very nice taste sensations with a beautiful Nashi Pear twist. The Seafood tasting Platter was yummy can't wait to try it again....

2 diners - Shared entree: Twice cooked Gruyere Souffle, Mains: 1 Crispy Skin Chicken and 1 Seafood Chowder, 2 glasses Sauvignon Blanc (NZ), 1 bottle sparkling water. cost - $117.50.
Despite the drinks menu offering a dry martini cocktail, the drinks waitress was unable to accommodate a request for a simple dry Vermouth as an aperitif. Likewise, it was not...

We looked forward to eating at this restaurant. We went with friends who are regulars and well known to the management. There were six of us and it was a quiet night. However we were placed right next to the busy thoroughfare to the toilets. The wait staff constantly interrupted and talked over our conversations which I found annoying. They...

Had two meals at the restaurant - one as a couple (outstanding experience) and a second with a family group. Great quality food and presentation with friendly, helpful staff. A bit slow getting to the main meal the second time around which took a bit off the overall experience.
Best brekky in Coolangatta. We love this restaurant had the corn fritters and poached eggs this time. The haloumi brekky is nice as well. Have had dinner here once which was very enjoyable. We went back for afternoon tea. We had lovely homemade muffins and coffee. The coffee is awesome
Dined at Bellakai last night. The service was very friendly and entree nice. Two shots at delivering a medium rare steak was attempted, but the chief was clearly erring on the energy saving side as twice the meat was served somewhere between blue and rare. The owner was embarrassed but extremely courteous, so much so, that despite the hiccup with...

We chose to go here because of reviews. The food is variable. There were four of us. We had prawns, the fish of the day and a dessert. The desserts are very small servings. It was quite overpriced for what was served. Although I appreciate good service we found the girl that served us quite intrusive, constantly interrupting us as...

Great location and coffee but the breakfast was very disappointing and too expensive considering the poor quality. Bread was so stale I could not cut thru & Haloumi was so tough it was like rubber @ $17 and my partners Bellakai Breakfast was $22 (or thereabouts) and when served did not satisfy.
This restaurant was recommended from the managers at the hotel we were staying at. The food was delicious and had a great atmosphere.
