The meal was expensive but nothing special. The ambience was lacking, the chairs weren't comfortable. Thsi was an ok place, but not ncie enough to go back.

The best restaurant in Dunedin by far. Awesome atmosphere, great food, great service. Never had a bad night at Plato.
funky place - the decor will give you something to smile about too. food and service were top notch - fresh fresh, good prices - lovely lovely desserts, good wine list - tick tick tick
Our party of eight people chose Plato for a graduation celebration dinner, so understandably the place was quite busy on the night. However, after we had been seated at our table, we were ignored for nearly 20 minutes, In this time period, there were several wait staff going past and clearing other tables around us, but nobody asked us if...

the second time we have eaten here in the last 6 months- .Both times the food has been excellent and the service good . A new waitress was being trained and the staff were clearly good at their jobs..the portion sizes were good and the options were wide .
Food always a good standard... Great Staff.... surroundings kind of kitch but food and service make it ok ... great for brunch as well ...
The food is always amazing. Majority of menu is seafood. Suitable for children but not many there usually. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Fantatsic desserts. Can be quite hard to locate the restaurant if you haven't been before but worth finding! I rate it the best restaurant in Dunedin.

The food was outstanding in flavor and presentation. The serving were generous. The staff were welcoming, attentive, but not imposing. We wished we found the restaurant earlier in...

The usual brunch fare was on offer and while our group of 6 plus a toddler waited for mains, complimentary ciabatta bread and oil dip was provided. As usual the...
