Atmosphere was great. Quite noisy, lots of students. Food was delivered promptly and was quite good. Table of 10 uni girls beside us were asked to quieten down (although I didn't find it a problem - they were just having fun) Mains were brought out to us before we finished our entree. But good value for money.

Having visited Fukuoka, Japan and familiar with Japanese foor including horse meat that has been reared for human consumption, Jizo in Princes St is sooo good, everytime we have visited Dn we make a point of getting to this restaurant, vast selection of types of meats, definitely recommend, no reservations!!!!

I love dining here as their food is always fresh and delicious. My favourite is their shrimp & seaweed salad. Their premises are not very big, so it does get very crowded on a busy night. The staff are hard-working & polite, and the range of Japanese food is great

Love their teriyaki chicken sushi which comes out with a piece of rice, avo mayo mix and warm teriyaki chicken, tofu or salmon, really yummy. Had a great meal here. Had sushimi and wine at a reasonable price. Enjoyed it so much had to have seconds of sushi. My fellow diners aren't really into Japanese but really enjoyed their non-sushi/shashimi choices.

This is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Dunedin! It's always busy because it's soooo good! My recommendation: Teriyaki salmon sushi.

great Japanese food - student style cheap and cheerful. Goyza are superb. Happy staff, Order at the counter seems very popular with locals

We have now been here twice, its normally packed but the 2 times we have managed to sqeeze in the food has been excellent.
