The food was good but this cafe was so noisy that it ruined my husband's birthday treat experience. And it was not even particularly busy with plenty of spare tables. Mains were good value and good sizes, the deserts were great-sticky toffee pudding -YUM!!! the prices were good, nice athmosphere. Service both attentive and friendly dining area not overly large but ok.

I always enjoy my visits to salt, the coffee is consistently excellent and the atmosphere inviting and warm. Their seafood chowder is also scrumptious :) most of all the staff are lovely and very accommodating.... very nice :)

We ventured into Salt every night of our stay in St Clair for both meals and just a drink.The food was fantastic as was the friendly bar staff.We felt right at home and became regulars on our short stay in the area.

We had an excellent meal here in lively but pleasant surroundings. Good service, good wine and a good choice of menu. As its tucked away a bit you could miss it but its worth looking out for it
