Had a wonderful dinner at Luna tonight our waitress was very efficient and friendly and the food was great. They were very busy with a uni graduation but this did not affect their great service. Wine was pricey but the view made up for this.

We went for dinner, and decided to have a drink at the bar first. The tables were dirty and the service poor. Worst gin and tonic I have ever had. Decided not to eat there. Eventually couldn't wait to get out - left half my drink behind. Beautiful location, just a pity about the service and quality!

I don't know what happend to Luna it seems to have lost its edge and key staff and the food has certainly taken a turn for the worst. Ordered steak and venison after a 50 minute wait both came overcooked, tasteless and looked terrible. we didn't stay for dessert and won't return again.

Yes - Luna has great views but that's it! Coffee was luke warm. Had to wait for over an hour for our mains - that were all over cooked and over priced. Worst experience I ever had in my home town!

The restaurant over looks Stuart Street and nice views over the harbour and dunedin city. Lunch menu was abit pricey and they didnt offer seniors specials for the older members of my family. Friendly staff and decor was nice inside the bar :)
