Have been twice, food good both times and service is good as well. Desserts are probably the highlight although a little on the pricey side. Recommended

Attended on Anzac day after the dawn service, had pre booked. Was extremely busy, very impressed with the excellent, organised and courteous service received. My meal & coffee was delicious and beautifully presented. All other people had my table seemed to throughly enjoy the meal too. Would definitely attend again.
The desserts at Strawberry Fare came highly recommended and we were not let down - but I would advise to show up very hungry! We recently dined at this restaurant which has devine desserts and their mains aren't too bad either. Good value for money.

Impressive desert menu and clearly a favorite of Christchurch's young, hip and attractive residents. The only downfall is that it has a tiny bar so have your date in place before you go....
Having lost there original premises in the Feb 2011 quake this restaurant is now in a new location overlooking the Avon river. dessert menu seems a bit smaller these days but quality is just as good, and service still top notch. Rapt that this establishment is still going strong after so many years.
Our grown-up family of four enjoyed every morsel and the chocolate dessert was to die for. I had a salad which was delicious.
Salmon mains over cooked. Very small portions.Family of 10 to celebrate graduaation..Desserts were not as outstanding as previous years.
