Everything about his restaurant is excellent, the wine list is extensive, the service incredible and the food of such excellent quality and preparation - I would definitely make a B - line for it whenever we are in Wellington again.

love the this restaurant. wonderful service, great food. Breakfast you could have buffet or order you like. lunch and dinner does not have huge range of food but high quality. really good value for money for a 5 star hotel.

Stayed at the Ibis round the corner, and this was the closest place open on a sunday night. Food was good overall. Starters were tiny and overpriced for what we got. However, the mains were very good, well cooked and tasty. Wine list reasonable.

My husband and I lived across the street in Queen's Wharf for 6mths in 2005!
I was surprised that a 'hotel' restaurant was SO wonderful... but it was indeed SO wonderful!
We'd go once every other week or so for dinners... and once a month or so for weekend brunch buffet.

Enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast here last weekend, however disappointed to be advised of a credit card surcharge only when we went to leave and pay our bill. Surcharge is not mentioned on the menu nor on the signage when you enter the restaurant, not a big deal in $ terms just one of those things that is irritating on...

We went to Chameleon during the Chocolate Festival and had a set 5 course chocolate menu. It was delicious! The staff was very friendly and well informed and answered patiently all our questions. My partner and I dined in Chameleon for his 40th birthday. My partner is a very large eater so as always I was hoping the meal would be big enough to fill him up. The service was fantastic, we had an amazing waiter who doted on us the entire night, our glasses were never empty and his conversation was great!...
