Stopped off at the recommendation of the staff at the Taupo i-site. Really enjoyed looking around at the sculptures. Good hot coffee. Food looked good even though we didn't have it. Would recommend a visit.

Order your food and amble around the artwork in the café and garden while you are waiting for it to arrive. Good food (consistently). You can visit the shop and most artworks are for sale.
Worth the drive out to this amazing cafe and gallery- great food and fun ceramics. A place to take the kids as well as granny
Ticks every cafe box, great coffee, food, they really really know how to run a cafe. Freindy, quick , handled large group amazingly, great menu, even sells kiddy packs . . .
We went to this lovely cafe for my mum's surprise 80th birthday.
Although they do not take bookings all of the staff catered for our large group of 23 adults and 6 kiddies no problem.I did email them prior to the day so they where well organised.
Thank you Jo,Andrew and all of your wonderful staff for making the surprise...

A great wee destination for morning tea and a drive around the bay. Lots of amazing mosaic art works.

Fabulous cafe with the added bonus of a mosaic garden to wander around. We had corn fritters which came with a very nice mango salsa. we also had the steak Sammy which was incredibly tasty served with an awesome onion jam
As always living up to my expectations! Jo and Andrew really know the meaning of hospitality! Yummy coffees, great and quick service, always with a smile. Toys for the little one and that bacon baguette is to die for!
We read that this cafe was rated by Lonely planet as a top ten in New Zealand Cafe to go to.Coming from Wellington , where we have THE MOST AMAZING cafes and restaurants, we had high expectations on reading this.
Sadly we were very disappointed and wonder when lonely planets reviewers visited this cafe last.
