Came to sabroso after reading reviews, food was ok very bland though for South America food .we are from New Plymouth and have a small South America restaurant there called el condor it blows sabroso away in every way

We went to Sabroso based on TripAdvisor reviews, and glad we did! Lovely owner, small cosy place, nicely lit, understated, most of all the food was delicious! A good, tasty hearty meal. Chilli chocolate dessert is to die for!

Read the reviews and booked. We weren't dissappointed. We don't often have Mexican food and we really enjoyed the experience. Good atmosphere, buzzing with conversation. Great variety on the menu and we were spoilt for choice. Good food, huge portions and good service. Good advice about the sauces: flame thrower really took your head off - numbing the tounge!
