Poor service, very average food. Would definitley not recommend. there are better creperies / french bistros around, with better food and better service.
We recently visited this restaurant (party of 4), food was good but the service was pretty slow. For example a couple had arrived long after us, but yet they got their food quite a while before ours. Pretty disappointing considering there was only one chef cooking.
We were a group of 5 and the only ones in this place for lunch on a Saturday, despite this, service was unbelievably slow! The food is nothing amazing, and definitely did not taste even remotely french. The cheese platter was a waste of time with the highlight being the walnuts.
We have enjoyed some great dinners, but since the original French owner sold the bussiness to other - non french - we only went baqck once. Very disappointed. We were seated outside in winter. The heater warmed us up on one side... The serviettes were paper, they used to be linen. The food was mediocre.
I really did not like the food here I have been twice 2 years apart and the food had not improved in this time. I found the service lacking and would not recommend this as the place to dine.
We go here regularly for the eye fillet steak and cheese platter. The value is good and it's BYO which is rare for a steak restaurant in Auckland. Service can be erratic but this is a little place in a busy area so you have to be realistic. the manager is always very cordial and pleased to see us.
