There were 8 of us so we ordered practically everything on the menu. Best teriyaki chicken I have ever tasted All the other dishes were fantastic too
We had a lovely meal here, great value, and the service was magnificent. The food was clean and as promised. We will definitely be back!
I dined for lunch with my daughter. We both a Donburi set (rice bowl) - one hamburg and one chicken. They both come with miso soup, small salad and a choice of sashimi, sushi or tempura. We both chose the sashimi which came with three pieces of florally arranged salmon. We both really enjoyed our meals and the service was... More
Utterly amazed by the food here! The Wagyu beef aburi was delicious. It was a real treat eating here and I would most definitely return. It was on the expensive side (we were glad they took the entertainment card) but we felt it was worth it.
A modern take on a great cooking style in picturesque surroundings. This is not a traditional Japanese meal, so do not be surprised with some of the interpretations of dishes, but the results are still very tasty. If you are looking for a solid traditional meal, then you should skip this one. The attention to details and service is wonderful,... More
$900 for 6 of us..... The prison style seating, the waitress who couldn't speak up above the noise, the noise, the price, the...... If the company is paying maybe this place is ok, but out of my pocket... Matsuri here I come
We dined here early before going to the theatre. We ordered a selection of dishes including Prawn tempura, Salmon Nigiri, Tuna Sashimi & Vegetable Kushiyaki. All were excellent however the Sashimi was the standout. The restaurant has a great look and an interesting location. We ordered two glasses of wine which were too expensive for what they were. The service... More
Being turned away by Jaimie's 2.5 hour waiting list, we opted to shiro which offered us a bench table as we didn't book for table. We were happily seated. We can't afford the pricy food so we shared 3 entres and 2 mains, yet not filling. The Hakkaisan sake was served warm and great but have to ask for reheating... More
Our first visit to a Japanese restaurant. This is an upmarket spot in a modern block in the city with great views of the skyline at night. The food was amazing. Lovely for a special treat.
The food here was wonderful. The benefit of being able to book online was an advantage. A little difficult to find if you didn't know that in perth a lot of restaraunts are located within common areas under office buildings. The staff were polite but at the same time not very attentive to their customers. The restaurant is billed as... More
