We sat outside on a mild Autumn evening and had a great deal of difficulty with the menu, as there was so much to choose from. I envisage needing to go back several times, as every plate and meal looks worth a try! My suggestion would be to go in a larger group, as the focus of this restaurant is... More

We had a big group breakfast meeting and used their upstairs space, it was great, the food was delicious and I recommend checking it out for sure.

we called in for breakfast while we stayed in Melbourne for a few days. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well valued and generous in size. The coffee was brilliant. thanks again and we'll see you next time.

Lovely food, lots of different dishes to share for vegetarians and carnivores. Service can be erratic at times. Can get very busy on warm days/nights.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner out on the pavement of various Morrocan dishes & herb bread. The food & service were excellent & is a place we will go back to again in the future.Whilst not very large ? It was very busy & had potential customers turning up consistently. It is in the very popular Albert Park(Bridport Precinct) & the... More

The food is consistently excellent at Kamel. The dishes are small, made for sharing and cooked using North African influences. Even the most humble vegetable dish such as green beans is tasty enough to eat by itself - not that I could ever leave without trying 3 or 4 dishes. Kamel is cosy and always full. Unless you arrive very... More

We enjoyed choosing from the big range of mezze share plates. Kamel offers many separate menu pages for vegetarian/ vegan / gluten free and so on. The prices are varied, too. The best surprise was the watermelon grilled with garlic, cumin and other ingredients. The food is well worth the visit. It was busy. We had booked a week or... More

Went there with the family for my sins birthday and it was fabulous. The wait staff were helpful friendly and attentive. The food was awesome, and as there was 6 of us, each sharing plate came out with exactly the right amount of pieces to share. The chef paced the food to come out one after the other in perfect... bread and dips, spicy pumpkin dumplings, corn and feta fritters and roasted duch stuffed with couscous and dates...followed by mango sorbet. And the best cocktail ever - Eden something... Vanilla vodka, cinnamon, cloudy applejuice and lime...like drinking an apple pie. Worth the drive out of town - not far from St Kilda
