The third time to dine at Caffe e Cucina, unfortunately there wasn't a table inside as I had not booked. The food was excellent. More

My mum and I arrived in Melbourne around lunch and went here for a great hearty pasta meal! It was so good we went back again another day for dinner. Excellent quality, delicious food, good prices and great staff. Will definitely return on my next trip to Melbourne More

Lovely ambience, food, great wines at reasonable prices. I go there every time I go to Melbourne and it never rests on its laurels More

We were in the upstairs room which was fairly quiet at first, but soon the noise became unbearable. The standard of the food was just average, and was certainly overpriced. One of the waiters had body odour, and this was not pleasant, to say the least. More

By the time they brought out the entrees they still hadn't served the wine and when they did bring it out it was the wrong one! This used to be such a great restaurant but expansion hasn't helped. The staff were very inexperienced or to put it subtlety they had no idea. The food was good but when there are... More

Visited Melbourne recently, and decided to go out for dinner. Not having been on the dining scene didn't know where to begin, and though I felt I was being unadventurous and I kind of didn't want to fall back on a place I used to go to 20 years ago - we did it. And weren't disappointed. Food was fabulous,... More

Found this place while walking Chapel street. Quite expensive and crowded ... but ... please don't let that deter you. When dining here, you are transported to some little cafe in Italy. Every speaks Italian. The menu is in Italian. You could BE in Italy had you not walked in off a street of Melbourne. The service and food quality... More

Our group of four was very rudely treated by the maitre'd at caffe e cucina. After paying the bill and spending over $200 at lunch, we were told ( not asked) to leave, and ushered out the door.We had been seated ordered eaten and paid in under an hour and a half. It was a regular eating spot of ours... More
