This restaurant is a Lygon St institution. The Ferrari memorablia (which includes a mock up Formula 1 car hanging from the ceiling) can be overpowering if you have no interest in that area, but the food more than compensates. The food is very tasty, plentiful and very reasonably priced. It is a shame that the Lygon St precinct itself has lost... More

Once again friendly staff and great service. The food was nice and plenty of it. Not expensive either.

Being a life long Carlton Football Club fan, a visit to Lygon Street was a must. I first of all wanted to pop into Percy's bar at the Astor but being a Sunday it was shut. So I wandered up and down Lygon a few times before settling on Cafe Coretto. I wanted a pizza and a bottle of Italian... More

With quite a few reviews being not so good we have been here twice now and have not had a problem. We arrived this time and the place was fairly quiet, love all the Ferrari stuff and ordered the Pasta Bolognese and garlic bread and had a Coffee, and we just had the entree and that was very filling itself. The staff were... More

Middle-of-the-road food at a reasonable price. The wine and service were good. The seating is a bit cramped, but all in all, we enjoyed ourselves.

I just went there with some friends, and the food was terrible. One of the pizzas had a hair on it, and when I complained, they just took it of, without changing the food. The staff was nice, but they were really upset all the time. We heard complainings about the owner not giving them the tips, and not paying,... More

In the Middle of Lygon street with so much competition you would think they would put a bit more effort into looking after their customers. The service was terrible, had to wave disinterested waiters to get any service. The servings were generous but ordinary. I ordered Salmone pasta which was described as having ham & smoked salmon. When it arrived... More

I ALWAYS have a meal here each time I have visited Melbourne for the past six years (more than a dozen times). Food portions are always generous and the place is always packed. Prices are on the cheap side of reasonable and the pasta sauces are authentically full of fresh herbs and the flavour explodes in your mouth with each... More

We have eaten here a few times and it's always good for a quick bite. The servings are generous so we only ever order entrees. It's full of uni students because it's cheap and friendly. The decor is garish, don't wear yellow or red as you'll fade into the background. The waitress had trouble understanding that I couldn't eat dairy... More

I'd dinner here on a windy August night with a friend. We'd originally planned to go to Mercadante but walking down the street, we saw this 1st & decided to stop by. We ordered a veg pasta, a bacon traditional pizza & a pot of Earl Grey tea. The pizza was loaded with bacon & dripping with oil. Nothing extraordinary... More
