Japanese Tapas......has to be a great way to dine. I dropped into Heirloom for a glass of wine. Ended up staying a couple of hours. There are many tasty snacks to choose from, both raw and cooked. I'll go back for sure!

We had breakfast here because it was close, I couldn't say that I enjoyed it, I would find somewhere else next time.
Japanese food with a modern twist. The highlights were the sushi/sashimi plate and the wagyu beef. Tables were a little close for privacy but staff were professional and friendly.
Yes it's more expensive than your traditional Japanese restaurant, yes it's more flahsy but well worth the extra money. The flavours are carefully crafted and subtle. The bento box (together with the custard and miso on the side) will more satisfy your hunger. It's so good you just have to keep on eating so be prepared.
Arriving in to Melbourne late and staying at the Citadines made the decision to eat at Heirloom on the first night easy and one of the best that we made for the 2 weeks that we were there. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff extremely tentative and so welcoming...I would walk past the restaurant and the staff would wave hello....

Had dinner at the Heirloom. The food was good but it was a little bit pricy. Service was good too. Very busy restaurants with many private functions held there.

Decent options but opted for a simple croissant and chai latte while my coworker opted of the continental...

I stayed at the Citidanes hotel in Bourke St and the hotel refers guests to Heirloom for breakfast. Whilst breakfasts ordered from the menu appeared to be very nice the buffet is terrible. It's not worth $25, some of the food was cold and dried out and the tea and coffee offered as part of the buffet is "canteen" standard...

Had a lovely dinner at this gorgeous restaurant a few months ago and it was sublime. The food was absolutely delicious and I could not fault the service at all.
We had a degustation menu and everything on it from the Sashimi to the macaroons for dessert were to die for. This restaurant was awarded a chefs hat in 2012...
