Da Angelos gnocci is unsurpassed and stands out on a superior menu. I've eaten here at least a dozen times and never been disappointed. Arguably the best Italian restaurant in Tasmania ( if not Australia), for unpretentious, grass roots cusine. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and not hard on the eyes. An institution ............ deservedly so !!!! Thanks guys :)

I liked Da Angelo's and so do many others in Hobart. But last visit. The wine was a trifle expensive and when I noticed my wife's glass was below the "Plimsoll Line" I asked the waitress would she mind topping it up. I am sure that for the locals who want a large bowl of greasy pasta and service with a smile, then this place is great. However, for anyone visiting from out of town .... be warned, this is the one time not to trust the overall TripAdvisor rankings.

This is a solid italian restaurant. Not an expensive fit-out, looks like a long-term locals favourite. Busy but good service: food came quickly and was very nice. Reasonable prices as well so all good - good value for money.

Fantastic little restaurant. Service is always great! Food is amazing! We come here whenever we can, for special occasions or just when we feel like really good food. Shame the parking is hard to get on a saturday night but it's still worth driving round for 10 minutes trying to get a spot.
