This relatively new cafe/restaurant in South Hobart has, I think, the best food in Hobart. Recently opened for dinner (previously only lunch & breakfast) it offers excellent mix of flavours and textures in entrees, mains and deserts. Magnificently tasty, funky food. Also has excellent coffee.

We got a taxi to get here after reading good reviews. It was worth it. Not in the CBD, it was cool and funky and laid back. Had some dads in there after dropping the children at school. Good food at good prices. Nice to just hang out with the locals for awhile.

Had been to Ginger Brown's for lunch, but they have just started serving dinners, this was only their 5th night, so it was a new experience and what a joy. Great food, beautifully presented and the coffee as well to die for. Will definitely spread the news.

Went here for dinner on Saturday night and it was amazing, even though it was only their third night being open for dinner. You can really tell that these guys love doing what they do. The menu was great and prices were very reasonable. I'll definitely be recommending that everyone gets along to try this place out.

Recommended cafe short walk from Cascade Brewery and Female Factory. Family of five lucky to get a table on a busy Monday lunchtime. Well made coffee, fresh, homemade and generously portioned meals, interesting menu choices, plus cosy atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Stopped in for breakky, this is such a cozy little cafe with a great vibe, perfect for lingering over coffee and the paper! Service was prompt, friendly and relaxed and they hardly blinked an eyelid when we asked if one of the meals could be done gluten free. Both of us had coffee (which was fantastic) and poached eggs with... More

Great coffee, savoury muffins. Popular with young mums and dads, central table for great conversation and newspaper sharing. Staff are friendly and food is simple and freshly prepared. Comfortable, eclectic surroundings with walls covered with upcoming musical/theatre events.
