We ate at The Pier several times. During the week it's great and so quiet, whilst on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday it is packed. They have fantastic deals where you get a house wine/beer and a meal for $13.00. Would definatly reccommend it for a cheap night out More

The Pier is located about 300 metres from the lagoon on the Esplanade and is a great place to escape the heat and humidity. There are several restaurants in the complex, most with outstanding water views. The restaurants themselves can be a little overpriced but all in all its OK. Waterbar and Grill restaurant on the Pier was unbelievable. Best food, service and view in Cairns. ou need to book as it is very popular. Their steaks and ribs were beautiful and tasty. A must. More
