Two young guy's have reopend Anise resently and the result is fantastic, the wine and the food has been of high stanard and the room looks fesh and clean. I have been twice , once for lunch and once for dinner. Do yourself a favor and check it out

Anise is a treasure, and so unlike anywhere eles I can think of in Brisbane to eat. Excellent interesting food and guidance given to choose something different and interesting. Wines are also creatively selective. Expect an experience like no other here , in a very casual but intimate atmosphere. A real eye opener and deserves top marks.

The food at Anise is very imaginative and delicious. Coupled with fabulous wines or cocktails and brilliant owners who are entertaining and welcoming. The degustation was worth the money and they will do their best to even pair the food with cocktails if your heart so desires. Very small but makes the experience even better.
