Had to wait forever for our food, and remind about the water, extra drinks. But when food arrived, it was some of the best I've ever had.

I don't understand any of the previous complaints; yes you may pay $30 for mains but everyone of our meals was so generous and of high quality that dessert (although tempting) was not even an option. This place has it spot on. Friendly, unassuming staff, superior food and honest prices. Highly recommend

This was my 4th visit to Vine and now my last The ambience is pretty average, the bar area slightly above being tatty. The food is good not fabulous but the prices for a suburban cafe/ restaurant are not justifiable...basically what they can get away with. Vine has a delightful indoor/outdoor street bistro feel, perfect for warm summer evenings. It offers a nice wine menu, although we stuck with prosecco. Friendly staff with good menu and tasty food. The pasta with bugs and crab was tasty. The truffle mashed potato was creamy and perfectly seasoned and the vegetable side was cooked well with a decent quantity. We finished the meal with cheese; more biscuits/bread was needed. My family goes here very regularly. Very nice service, true italian experience. Great for special occasions. Breakfast lunch or dinner! Price is good considering quality of the food.

This is a consistently good restaurant which is reminiscent of old time Italian restaurants in Melbourne. Fabulous food, really friendly service, and classy! Love it.
