For a relaxed dinner of fish and chips by the beach this place was great. the food was good and so was the sunset from their porch.
This is one of the best places to eat in Darwin and certainly my favorite place in Cullen Bay. The buffet cost of 39.50has increased but the range and quality of food is amazing. There is always so much to choose from and their dishes are always delicious. The dishes here equally rival and pass those served at banquet dinners... More
I hadn't been there for a number of years, and a few things have changed. There probably isn't the range there once was, like no bug tails and fewer fish dishes, but still, what there was I thought was great. Prawns, mussels and oysters galore, plenty of hot dishes, salads, seriously as much as anyone could really need. Even if... More
Food was stone cold. Far too noisy and drinks prices were a rip off. The fruit in the chocolate dipping area was not fresh, the seafood looked suspicious. Never again would I got there. Spent the following day sick and having a crook stomach.
Found this place by chance. Slightly out of the way but well worth the short drive. The most amazing Barra and chips. They sell your food in paper however they also sell wine and beer. So you get stunning views overlooking the ocean with a nice glass of wine and eating the best barra and chips I have ever had.... More
Food Was very poor and when I complained about a dead cockroach in my food to the manager he was very rude and did not want to assist and said there are no cockroaches in his restaurant.
Went here on the basis of reccomendations on TA and it was the busiest restaurant in Cullen bay. It is buffet format with a selection of western and Asian dishes and some good seafood too. for 39.50 you cant beat it. great view at sunset too.
The view of a Darwin sunset over the water is fantastic, but it gets better, for $39.50 a head you get a great buffet meal from entree through to dessert. the choice of food is fantastic, my favourite was the seafood with multiple serves of prawns, oysters & scollops. The fresh fruit and cheese cake topped it off nicely. The... More
Best smorgasbord we've had. I don't eat seafood and my husband does and we both left happy $39.50 good value. The staff are young polite and friendly. We sat outside and had a wonderful view of Darwins famous sunsets.
Unsure of where to eat in a strange city?We were, en route to Cullen Bay Marina, in a cab, we asked our driver," There are a stack of them down in the marina precinct", was his reply. But go to "Seafood On Cullen" Imagine a romantic sunset, gazing out from our verandah seating, at the soft brown sands, azure smooth... More
