This is located in a great spot, Circular Quay, in front of the Customs House. We ate out on the patio, so you order at the bar, and they then bring you the food to your table. The staff were very nice, helped us pick out a pizza and salad, and we had a couple of local beers for under... More

Stopped in with friends for dinner on our last night in Sydney before flying north for the rest of our vacation. We arrived early for dinner, so there was no crowd - making service quick. We all had different pizzas so we could share and they were all great. Nice selection on the menu and pleasant outdoor seating area next... More

Very rude workers. Unpleasant impression. Restaurants exist for spending time in a nice place, not for getting more stress.

This was my third visit to Young Alfred. I really want to love this place, the setting is so convenient for CBD & Circular Quay and sitting outside you feel like you're in Italy, looking out through the pillars. It has the potential to be outstanding and SHOULD be fantastic. But, the service is woefully inadequate, taking an age to... More

I found Young Alfred a bit expensive and the servings were quite small. The food was good, the staff were pleasant and we didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. We didn't have entree's or deserts. The wine was relatively priced for a city restaurant. I wouldn't rush back, however i would be happy to go back... More

I work next door to Customs House so I've been here many times for work lunches where i know the pizzas to be great, and the service brisk and functional. Today I took some friends who were in town to see the Vivid Light festival, and I was dismayed at the complete lack of interest any of the waiters showed... More

Just behind the railway viaduct at Circular Quay hides Customs House. Its ground floor accomodates a great pizza / pasta resturant. Just 200m from Sydney Opera House the resturant is a secret to tourists but busy with the locals. Well worth a visit.

One of the best pizza and mod Aus restaurants in Sydney. The boys, formally of Arthurs Pizza in Paddington make a lovely selection of pizzas, thin, cripy base with tasty but not overloaded toppings. Good selection of cafe-style dishes as well - pastas, steak, salads. The desserts are also worth trying, the honeycomb parfait in particular. Yum yum yum.
